The Fabric of Energy explores universal connections through torus shapes, donut-like forms, that visualize how energy flows between all living things.

During my MAD Artist Studios Residency (August 2025 - February 2026), I'm collecting hair donations for one sculpture in The Fabric of Energy series. Your contribution will be woven together with others to create a sculpture about interconnectedness.

Donated hair needs to be 3-4 inches (7-10 cm) minimum. I need at least 4-5 strands from brushing, combing, or cutting (if it’s time for a haircut). Collecting hair from the drain is not recommended.

Quick Steps

2. Write your response on the card, put your hair and the card in the envelope, and mail it back
